our history
Since its inception in 1989, Blue Sky Logistics BV has expanded its global presence, with each subsidiary outside Europe functioning as an independent profit center, accountable for its own performance. To swiftly and effectively adapt to market dynamics in Germany, Blue Sky Logistics BV manages nine strategically located tank terminals with a combined capacity of approximately 1.7 million cubic meters. These terminals are situated in key locations such as Rotterdam, Hamburg, Houston, and Singapore.
Significant milestones in the company's growth include the acquisition of a Hamburg facility in 1997, the Hanau tank terminal and a Karlsruhe facility in 1999, the Waltershof tank terminal in 2015, and the expansion of the Honau tank terminal in 2008. Today, Blue Sky Logistics BV operates a total of 11 tank terminals, boasting a total capacity of 2.375 million cubic meters, ensuring robust infrastructure to meet the evolving needs of the market.
